If you don't know the basic facts of the game I don't thing you should even be contemplating buying it.

1. No it is not an RPG. It is a FPS.......It will have RPG elements such as open world exploration, looting, vehicle and weapon upgrades, etc.
2. It has been reported to have up to 20 hours of storyline gameplay, not including side quests.
3. No word on how big the map is......In several interviews it's said to be a massive wasteland. I do know that there will be two wastelands.
4. Not sure if there will be actual levels........Since it's open world, I'd say you progress through the story in your own time.
5. There will be no leveling up your character.....You can only level up your vehicles and receive upgraded ammo types for your weapons. Once again, it's not an RPG.
6.The multiplayer will not be the traditional deathmatch FPS. It will be vehicle combat rally....Basically, vehicle deathmatch. There will also be a coop mode called Legends of The Wasteland where you play out an extended version of the single player mode with a partner.
7. It will release for PS3 XBOX and PC.............Me personally? I prefer PS3. I have an XBOX also, but I think PS3 will be better.....Some may disagree, but that's my thing.

No it is not an RPG. With that I say everything. It is a shooter with RPG features

What is the name of this game. Lol. I'm still curious of how much rpg will be in it. I know we we have been told a touch but I wonder how much freedom we will have. A while back I heard that there was not that much freedom, then I stumbled across an article that said different. This journalist got to play a good couple hours and at one point they let him play from a save that was further into the game. After playing with it for a while he said he saw something very promising, he saw freedom. Basically it is a little more free roam then he originally thought. That makes me even more excited, I love exploring.

Also no matter what do not believe the outrageous lie that Rage is just like Borderlands or Fallout 3. From what I've seen it's nothing like it. So I'm not expecting that going into this game. I believe Rage is exactly like 'Nothing', and that is a great game. For me a great game is unlike any game and could never be compared to anything, it's new, exciting and you can tell the dev put a lot of hard work and imagination into making the game. Rage will be that game. Get ready for people to point out eveyone flaw. They do this with perfect games. I have a ton of faith in this game. I was dissapointed with the hours of gameplay at first but some further reading eased that concern.

1. No, its and FPS with RPG elements. Skills, uppgrading, getting XP aso. Think Open World FPS with advanced controll over you character.
2. 15 hours for a normal walkthrough and 20 hours for a slower, doing everything.
3. They say that it will be big but no word on how big.
4. I would say levels in a sandbox world. You can start a quest when you whant but when you start it I think some quests will demand that you finnish it before startiung something else. But I don't know for sure.
5. You do get XP for killing enemys and finnishing quests but I don't think you can level up. But belive you can buy skills for the XP.
6. Yes, but only with Racing deathmatch and some co-op missions.
7. Yes. Themself they recomend getting it on XBox 360 but you wont miss anything if you get it on PS3.


Something good is that it is partly based on true events (the Comet exist and will fly near earth) and the story is supose to be really good. The game is also said to be a buildup to RAGE 2.




You speak the truth. This is not Fallout 3 or Borderlands, and it's not DOOM or HALO. This is something new. A new more advanced FPS like it has never been done before. The plan was to make a big Open World FPS without having to cut back on graphics or gameplay and still keep the game over 60fps.
