I can't stop listening to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mQU7ml26JVM.

Who else fell for the Kredits?

Maybe we should get this thread renamed Donkey Kong Games (DKC, DKC2, DK64, DKC:R)?

By far the best Donkey Kong game ever. I remember dominating my friends in arena. :D

I think the last Donkey Kong I played was on the eight-bitters. Never did find the donkey.

Ahhh...the great and awesome days of Rare and their adventure games. Once the last generation of game systems came out, they took a nose dive. Tis quite a shame.

However, I [censored] hated having to beat the two 8-bit games in order to get the coins in order to beat DK64 :banghead:

Am I the only one who thought DK64 was the worst Donkey Kong game (with the exception of Diddy Kong Racing)? The DK Country games were great, even the third one. DK64 was just...I don't know, trying to be as good of a transition to 3D as Super Mario 64. Except it wasn't.

Best part of the game. I still do too for the most part, but I always forget the order it goes in.

I would love to see this game be remade on Wii/WiiU/3DS. I actually bought the "see-through" jungle green special edition DK64 N64 when this game came out and still have it/use it to this day.

I don't know. The difficulty seemed to rely more on a terrible camera control and poor 3D platforming than anything else. I just don't remember having a whole lot of fun while playing it. As a matter of fact, the most fun I had with that game was playing Jetpac on the arcade thing.

It certainly wasn't bad, and I don't have much to back up my feelings on this, but my memories of that game are full of me being frustrated and having very little fun. The final boss comes to mind. I mean, having a boxing match with King K. Rool where the Kremlins help him cheat was hilarious and amusing, but the fight itself was so tedious and frustrating and gimmicky. That was kind of the whole game for me.
