Sorry to be a bit controversial here but I would prefer a Game Of Thrones game to Skyrim. I mean look at the books and TV show, I'd rather see that in a Bethesda style RPG than a story about a civil war where you are helping out one of the last remaining blades.

The books are fine and the show is bad, while TES on the other hand is simply amazing.

Don't see why you'd want a Game of Thrones game over a TES game, especially considering how much Game of Thrones is about the characters but not the setting.

Having never read Game of Thrones (a situation I do plan to fix at some point in time), I can agree with Bethesda's decision.

Bethesda wouldn't really want to start juggling around 3 IPs, especially one that they do not own and are still beholden to someone else.

Read about that yesterday, while it would've been sweet for Beth to make a GOT/Song Of Fire (Whatever you want to refer to it as) game, I believe it would've failed for a couple reasons.

1. The game would've been linear, a lot more linear then all the other games that BGS has done.
2. I doubt you would have a character creation unless your a unknown soldier.
3. Would this have even been an RPG, it probably would've been but how would that turn out.
4. By making this game we sacrifice the next Elder Scrolls which means people are still left with Oblivion.
