On topic, GTA IV is one of my favourite games of this console generation

It was a blast with friends, but I never got into the story. We would each bring over a TV and our xboxs and hook 'em up to the internet and play multiplayer.

Nevermind.

I enjoyed the game, but my god. Installing that game, GFWL, Rockstar Social Club, finding ways to disable both (easier than dealing with them), patching, tweaking graphics settings, finding a way to disable the nonsensical restrictions on the graphics settings... It takes forever.
