So after seeing the popularity of my last thread and feeling rather chuffed, I thought I'd go onto this question. This personally affects me, so I'm doubly interested and eager to hear the responses.
So simply: how do you get over someone you loved? From either them breaking up with you, your mistake in breaking up with them or just the inability to get over someone that you'll never get together with?
Simply stopping any form of interaction with them helps a bit
That's how I got over that [censored] of an ex, who dumped me because I caught mono (and not because I was smooching), and therefore couldn't do much. She didn't even really try, and kept straining things.
I'm assuming your situation applies to the last example, and because i've been there before, i can tell you it takes anywhere from 2 months - 1 1/2 years to get over someone you never had a chance with in the first place.

It isn't, I thought it was worth including in case someone was in that situation. I guess the use of italics suggested that though.
Depends how well you know them I guess. If it was fairly well then no not really.
