DLC Worries

So I've stated this before in the Ps3 vs. 360 thread but I want my concerns to be known to the general readers here and hopefully answered by a dev.

So my concern has to do with Microsoft and id's new parent company Bethesda.

A few years ago I got fallout 3 for ps3 and then head DLC was coming out. I was excited as it was my favorite game at the time. Then I found out it was only coming out for the 360 then ps3 was 6 months later. So I traded it in for a used copy of fallout 3 for the 360.
Microsoft apparently bought Bethesda out or blackmailed them (who really knows).
The question is... will it happen with RAGE?

DLC is confirmed already to be in the works so it's a fair question, but for people who don't have the luxury of both consoles or a strong PC... could this happen again?
Are there any sources or could a moderator speculate or something?
Idk maybe I'm just over thinking it...what do you guys think?

Its always a possibility but Bethesda seem to have learned that timed exclusive dlc pissed off a lot of customers and probably cost them some sales either that or Microsoft isn't putting up as much cash. Only the first dlc of Fallout New Vegas was a timed exclusive and that was only for a few weeks the rest of the dlc were all released at the same time on all platforms so it appears their moving away from this. FYI what happened with fallout 3 and the first dlc of new vegas was a contracted deal between Bethesda and Microsoft, Microsoft paid Bethesda what one would assume was a rather large sum for Bethesda to keep dlc 360 exclusive for a period of time in the case of fallout 3 6 months for new vegas I believe it was 2 months but as stated above Bethesda appears to be doing away with this policy.
