No more physical copies for Mods?

You only become a veteran mod with benefits after your 100th ban. :deal:

That must be the boxer shrimp "enhancement" for the index finger.

Please keep in mind this thread concerns the film Immortals - if you have questions about moderator stuff ask them in this thread: http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1228658-ask-the-mods-9811/

similiar things shouldn't compete..

The main competition is usually between similar things.

On 11.11.11 I'm going to buy Skyrim, recruit some friends to go see this movie with me, and then go out drinking or possibly throw a party (It's my friends birthday). When I wake up the next afternoon, I'm going to play Skyrim nonstop until I pass out from exhaustion.

I think the movie looks like it will be a lot of fun to watch, not necessarily a "good" story though (ie. plot, character development etc.).

That's funny, because I explained my logic in the second half of that sentence...

That's funny that you think that's funny. You think something looks like crap and plan to see it anyone because it has vaguely cool effects?

and ^ the movies appeal seems to be more artsy than 300, but just as awesome with action and drama~

and really.. if it came before skyrim, it could get more views IMO :P but wow.. after seeing dr_booker's post... best idea ever~ (bring friends, buy skyrim, see movie, drink, then stay home all night and tomorow playing skyrim)

3 thumbs up doc~ :mohawk:

clash of the titans IMO didn't have a very good story .. it took a great one and made it alright.. it had awesome action and effects -and it was certainly a movie worth watching --- and Immortals looks like it has a more artistic vision, with good acting - where movies like Avatar had potential and failed miserably :P
I definately plan on seeing it but likely not in that uber doc way

maybe getting skyrim, and seeing a movie with the lady
thats me trying to make skyrim seem like not a big deal and that she's important to me :) and she is btw! .. which ought to help when I play the game a _little_ too much for her liking :P

Meh :P

just seems like they should release on a different day is all :/
similiar things shouldn't compete.. why not release the movie ahead of 11.11.11 and help build hype and get actually watched and not neglected by skyrim fans?

I don't think there's much similar about Skyrim and that movie trailer. I also think we're over-estimating the general public's awareness of Skyrim. A LOT of people out there are completely oblivious to video game releases (like the vast majority of people I know, despite the fact that I'm a gamer). In most settings 9 out of 10 people would be like, "sky-who?"

and clash of the titans looked boring in the trailer but it turned out pretty good - I get the same impression from the Immortal~
and 'theoretically' .. you could fire one arrow faster than the other by providing more strength to it O.o but yeah, hitting at the same time is 'fantastical'~

I thought Clash of the Titans was boring, to be honest. Then again, I'm old compared to most of the people on this forum. I've seen a lot of action movies. I saw the re-make of Conan at the drive-in about a month ago, so I can go a good 2 years before I see another movie that's 1.5 hours of people beating each other up with 5 minutes of story shoe-horned into it as an afterthought. They're mostly all the same with updated special effects. :P
