RAGE Steam Unlock Time Confirmed 12am EST : Othor Games

Pete Hines has confirmed that the Steam version will unlock at midnight EST on Oct 4. If I understand correctly, this seems to indicate that for those of us on the West Coast, the game will be unlocking at 9pm PST on Oct 3.

It has to for Steamworks games. Retailers can sell the game starting midnight so you can't have customers unable to authenticate with Steam and play their game.

Very exciting though

Too bad no sign of a pre-load yet so that's when we'll start downloading lol

This is the first Steamworks game that I'm aware of unlocking at 12am EST. 12am PST seems to be more common, but sometimes it can even be later in the day.

In any case, it's great news! :foodndrink:
