With the popularity of this game i just wonder when you ordered off steam beacuse its downloading to everyone maybe some files are corrupt and thats why your having issues...

I used to game pc all the time then couldnt keep up with the expence of it so went to console...

but like i say maybe the problem is with Steam and not I.D

And with reviews their has been no mention of all these problems i wonder if a pc review of this is out and maybe they have had the same problems as you guys.

Not just steam.

I'm playing on the XB360 version and there is most definitely texture pop-in, slow texture loading and generally low res textures that look worse than the original XB version of DOOM3.

I guess Steam could behind some performance issue if the game files became extremely fragmented while Steam decrypted the pre-download, so the texture streaming is very slow. But that's kinda it.

It looks like the issues I am having is Textures loading...not just pop-in but the game actually freezes while trying to load in textures. If I let it sit for 5 minutes..it renders fine until of course i move the mousesay 45 degrees and then there is a momentary feeze again.
