Usually, Steam offers the option to play every game in english, no matter where your Steam-Account was registered from - based on the language choice that can be made throught the Steam settings.

However, a german online game magazine recently claimed that a Bethesda official stated that there will be no english language audio for the "german" Steam version of Rage.

Is this true ?
Or is there a whole lot of misinterpretation or misinformation involved ?
There is a lot of confusion about this now in a few german forums, some people have even started to cancel their pre-orders over Steam because of this "rumor".

It would be very helpful if someone who is actually "in the know" could respond on this matter.
