MEGATEXTURE requires SSD RAID to work well

With the intro of megatexture the hard disk is slammed (streaming) as well as the video card. Texture popping is cause by hard disk lag as well as video ram limitations. People are not understandung this.
GET SSD and these issue will go away.


John said he had a farm of thess things (SSD) - terabytes - in development phase. So it was developed on that speed frame 500 MB/sec - not 50-150GB/sec of Hard Disk Drives.

So streaming causes more hardware to be needed - just like in a server envir. access time is critical as well as raw GPU/CPU cycles/
