So i feel that megatexture is not as awesome as i thought.
So would you rather have a game that looked great for 100GB (MegaTexture Uncompress) and be unique looking game or a game that looks great thats about 5GB but uses tiled (Skyrim).
I personally would rather have a game thats about 5 GB that plays great and looks great without being compressed

I would rather have the 5GB game because I do not have enough HDD space for 100GB worth of textures. That being said RAGE and Skyrim are vastly different games. Large open world games would suffer greatly from megatextures because of the size, but I can see FPS and other mostly linear games flourishing with megatextures. Everything being unique certainly adds a new layer of depth to the game.
