Post » Thu Oct 06, 2011 6:51 pm

so I have this program called "Nero 8" and it has a video editing program bundled onto it

the last video i uploaded to youtube I decided to use this program so I saved the file as an .AVI for about 7 mins of vid it took 2.4 hour to upload ... would of taken me about 1 hour tops if i had just uploaded the raw vid with out editing it ...

but this program gives me mutiple file formats + lets me encode teh sound which im not sure what that does ...

I just clciked on export to web apparently gives me to upload to youtube option but when i do it ask for my username and password i enter that and another window comes up same thing then it does nothing ...

I believe it's the H.264 format...whatever that is on your program.

It's the closest/same format YouTube uses, so conversion has minimal to no degradation. Anything else will have degradation issues.

The biggest hassle is that it produces a honking huge file that takes a long time to upload...even on broadband.

You do know Google exists right? Every one of your questions ever can be answered by Google.
