Anyone else very big S.T.A.L.K.E.R. fans besides me?


If you've never played S.T.A.L.K.E.R. comrades go try it or watch some gameplay. It is very good.

Now then comrades, lets talk S.T.A.L.K.E.R., who goes first?

Have you ever tried shooting a psuedogiant with a railgun? They go down faster than a dutyer in a fight with freedom.

I've been meaning to buy Clear Sky and CoP for ages now.

I have, however, been playing through SoC again. I've actually found some silencers this time around, and they are amazing. I've got one on my P99 and Balanced Enfield. The Enfield is a beast, what with the reduced recoil and all.

I usually use Vintar BC to take down Psuedogiants and Bloodsvckers.
However ammo very expensive so sometimes use AC96/2 with scope, silencer and grenade launcher.

Hunting artifacts is fun but also challenge.

of note (until somebody translates more than this):

- Strelok is, again, the protagonist
- it's one big, seamless world, with some locations returning from SHOC, CS and CoP
- new physics, animations, etc.
- they ain't showin [censored] until like 3 months before release

anybody who actually knows Russian feel free to inform us of any other delightful new stuff from this interview. i sure can't, i'm just a lowly slavophile.

Just got Stalker:SoC during the Steam sale, and am still pretty close to the beginning (just got to Argoprom?)


Got to say, as a dedicated packrat & looter? The amount of loot is making me twitch.... takes forever to relay all the guns I get from one fight back to the first trader (only guy I know who buys guns & ammo so far), and the respawn rate of bandits means that I end up killing more guys - and getting, of course, Yet More Loot - while trying to sell the first stuff. Leaving all that stuff lying around makes me want to scream. :ahhh: And it just keeps multiplying faster than I can deal with it. :banghead:
