I'm sorry ID

People make critical decisions that make their company lose quite a bit of money... I find the interview to be one of them. I've bought about every idsoftware title(except quakewars) because I respected the company. I watched documentaries on idsoftware watched interviews of john carmacks nasa project. I respected it all. I've hyped this game up to 4 of my friends in which they all bought it... I'm sorry but Doom4 or any other game that idsoftware makes I think it'd be best to warn my friends against it in the future...

Now for the most part I do understands it's mainly driver issues. but whos idea was it to not include advanced graphical options in a modern PC game? I'm able to run crysis 2 on high details with AA but in this game it looks worse than oblivion...

The very delayed public response to this also made me quite irritated. I had to use twitter to find the most updated information. I don't see that being professional of a company...

Now with most companies whether its their fault or not will apologies or do something for their customers in order to repair their image and keep future customers. I wonder what ID/Beth is going to do because I have forgiven companies before.

Don't forget reading Masters of Doom ten times like it's the Bible or something.

They DID make Doom and Quake though, and that's how I will remember them.

hah yes masters of doom, maybe I'm just venting my frustrations and will be happy once the next rage patch comes out... but I really want to see id software to succeed. it's the company I grew up with.
