Rage for PC or 360?

Post » Sun Oct 09, 2011 3:34 pm

Hey guys,

I've been following Rage for awhile now, and this last week I was busy with school and work and didn't have the chance to pick it up.

I'm wondering if it's worth a purchase of $60. A lot of games are coming out in the next couple months, I'd rather put my money to a game that I really am looking forward to (Skyrim, for example).

In addition to my first question, which platform do you guys suggest? I have a nice gaming rig PC, but I also have 360. I've heard mixed things, and that the 360 version is more stable... is this true? Which do you guys suggest getting it on.

Thanks in advance.

Do you want to play it right now? If you've got ATI i's say get it on 360.

I've got an NVIDIA card.

Then I'd get it on PC as its ready to play now. Be sure to update ur drivers to the BF3 beta drivers.

So were all the 'problems' on PC related to AMD?

Its not a sure thing on either card right now. I have it on PC and its unplayable. I may be returning it today.

True, there could be malware on your box, a broken fan, bad settings...its a crapshoot but your odds are very poor if you've got an ATI card right now.

Alright, I think I'll just get it for 360 to be safe. Besides, it won all kinds of "Best Console"-y rewards at E3 and PAX, so that's got to account for something.
