The Stupidest Game Ever by id : Othor Games

After every id software game I was always happy. Now I'm talking about when id first came about, they are the pioneers, they made the FPS genre. But now I think they are just not into it any more. The game, the engine, everything about RAGE svcked. svckED..!!
I made an account here just so I could vent a little bit. I'm not pissed that I had to spend $65 for a game which is just stupid but I felt betrayed by id. After games such as Captain Keen, Wolf, Doom and Quake... this is what you give us? A [censored]in' cheap rip off of the boring FarCry 2 (which did have a better engine). Oh my God the frekkin races? The stupid quests? No story and not even a gameplay? John Carmack, you are my HERO but RAGE is the most un-impressing thing to have ever come out of your brain. I had high hopes for this game but I think after the town of WellSpring, I'm done. I'll happily wait for Mw3 and BF3.
And the engine? CryEngine 3 is the best engine out there and I lost another $100 betting on your guys' engine tech. I shift my camera and your bump map shifts!! That's just stupid.
As I said you guys were supposed to be the leaders in this, what the [censored] happened to you?
In a nutshell, I am really disappointed in this game and I hope you guys could do a better job in game making. I was hoping to end my GOW3 so I could get into RAGE but now I feel I should've taken it easy on GOW3, it's a much better game than RAGE.... way better.
id Software, you guys made a bad product for the first time in your lives, and I had better expectations from you. Portal 2 and Crysis 2 are the best game and the best looking game so far respectively. RAGE was just FarCry2, with a bad engine..!!

Great, now that I have read your venting. I hope you feel better. Sorry that your hardware/driver configuration isn't up to the task. Maybe ID could have done a better job of informing people that ATI cards will not likely perform well until ATI updates their OpenGL drivers. However, I will go back to playing RAGE now. Its a pretty awesome game. Far exceeded what little expectations I had for it, to be honest.
