Relaxing Sunday Activities

Post » Mon Oct 10, 2011 10:05 am

I love, absolutely LOVE, Sunday mornings in my house. Always have. Even if I find a Church and/or activity that I enjoy doing on Sunday mornings (like taking pilot lessons), that I revert, rather quickly, back to just hanging out in my house on Sunday mornings.

As I type this, the laundry is washing, I have Soundscapes off of digital cable radio playing (think ambient music), it's raining outside and kinda chilly, my small, home waterfall is trickling in the corner of the room and I can just feel my soul saying, "AAAAAAAAaaaaaahhhhhhhh".

It's quite relaxing.

So lay it on me....what are some of your favorite things to do on Sunday mornings to relax and recharge your batteries?

Watching football, playing video games, watching the new episode of Dexter and going to Applebee's with my friends for half priced appetizers.

Doing one priorly decided house job, like mowing the lawn, and then the rest of the day inside playing games, reading books and watching movies. Sunday is total closure day for me.

Going to church, praising God, going out to lunch afterwards with my church family, heading home for a few hours, then going back.

This.

I'm in the process of moving so, hauling boxes and furniture is my Sunday priority. It's still morning so I'm on the forums drinking coffee.

I hate Sundays, they're so boring. I usually watch a movie or play a game. I spend most of the time bored thinking about what I can do, although everything seems uninteresting on Sundays.

I should be studying. Everyday feels like a work day while I'm in university!

Usually I would just game it up on Sunday but due to it being a 3-day weekend I am going to a party tonight.

Yeah, I'm also focusing on some house jobs today - just slowly piddling my way through them. I find it fun to just do something at my own damned pace and if it doesn't get done, oh well.

It's quite a change from my normal go, go, go lifestyle during the week.

I usually spend Sundays lying in bed, eating crackers and watching TV. Sometimes, if the weather's nice, I open the windows.

Video games. Particularly wandering around Cyrodiil, Vvardenfell, or the Capital Wasteland - and other places.
