Extremely disappointed with this game (SPOILER ALERT)

First off, I NEVER POST, but when I got to the end of the game on the hardest difficultly I was more disappointed then I've ever been before.

Considering this is an ID production I was really looking forward to some sweet @ss first person shooter action and for most of the game that is exactly what I got. I'm not going to go through all the little things I didn't like about the game, because they were cosmetic or superficial in my opinion, like how I kept pressing ESC to exit the inventory menu instead of TAB and if you've done that you know how annoying it is.

I finally get the pulse cannon/BFG, thinking to myself "SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEET I'm near the end of the game and there is going to be some HUGE MOTHA TRUCKA mutant boss to kill with my trusty BFG.

but...... NO

I get to the very end of the game and use only 400 bullets from the pulse cannon. Having used my shotgun and the authority machine gun (with the armor piercing bullets to kill most of the fools) and EVEN using my fists to kill the beefed up authority mutants......thinking to myself I need to conserve ammo.... AHAH NOPE didn't need to. WHY? because when the game ended I had 700+ pulse cannon bullets left AND never felt like i needed to use the BFG

WHY THE HELL DO I NEED BFG ROUNDS IF THERE ISN"T GOING TO BE AN END GAME BOSS?!?!?!?!

Did I miss something here? I seem to remember there ALWAYS being an end game boss in ALL the ID productions I've played growing up...

WHAT THE HELL ID.....TRY AGAIN...YOU FAILED....AND YOUR STUPID GRAPHICS ENGINE BLEW CHUNKS

ok...this is the first time i've ever done this...but seriously I had really high expectations and all i really needed was an END-GAME boss to try out the BFG on that woulda taken me 10 min to kill

Honestly, I believe the game failed so hard because they tried to please both console and computer gamers. Seeing how it would be impossible to make the game too difficult because of the lack of precision when it comes to a "controller" versus "keyboard and mouse." Don't even try to deny it.

Anyway, I know they have it in them to make a better game and i'm sure there are so many variables that i'm not even aware of, but come on, don't push a game out unless it's finished.

Oh great, not only am I going to have to wait several weeks for a proper patch to come out that will actually let me play the damn game, it also has a crappy ending. By far the GREATEST 60 dollars of my life.

Indeed, I hated the ending.

Not only wasn't there a boss... the story felt as though it ended so abruptly... it felt so UNEPIC :(
