Tex Avery

Post » Tue Oct 11, 2011 8:07 am

Seen those cartoons produced ( not sure what he did I think it was his art style that he contributed) by some guy Tex Avery. Now imagine, somebody with the same talent produced an animated short or fan art revolving around fallout (of course) with the same art style as said artist mentioned above . Just to assist you in remembering who this brillant man is, he created this character named Droopy. Google his name for more information.

And thou shall showeth thy fullest respect for He, who is, was and shall always be the 'Doc', in anyone's 'what's up?' :grad:

darn youngster aint gots th' gumption ta least mentions Bugs..

yes it would be cool. Unfortunnately that brand of animation died out when the Dodgers moved to LA (another grave and unholy mistake, but that's another rant..) :)

I didn't want to go into a lengthy exposition on his creations. Imagine if someone did an animated fallout documentary with the same art direction as Tex Avery's " The House of Tomorrow".

This. The man was a genious. One of my favorites along with Bob Clampett. Youths of today wouldn't know a good cartoon if it fell on 'em.

There is no limits on how an animated fallout documentary or short, could be drawn except maybe abysmally poor.

Tex Avery and ChucK Jones ensured the hilarity of many a Saturday morning in my youth.
There's another muscial cartoon songfest involving hillbillies, let me go find it.

Tex Avery and Chuck Jones were [censored] revolutionaries! Never again shall slap-stick be made like how those two did it, and it's very much quite a shame.

I may be young, but Looney Toons, Tom and Jerry, Droopy, and etc were the toons I grew up with. Laserdisc ftw.
