Since I paid for the prepaid edition do I get the sewer access since it says that retail bought games get this? I have looked at several post about this and it seems it goes back and
forth in the articles.

I would like to know before I end up buying it.

Yes, you will get sewer access. You will have to find the sewers. But after you find and clear a sewer, you can get a mission to go back and clear it again.

I found a sewer access by the Wasted Garage and it told me I needed a DLC to enter it or have a retail copy to redeem the access. Since I paid for the anarchy edition should I not be able to
enter it here or is it a mission later?

I pre-ordered/bought/picked up the Anarchy edition entered the code, and the sewers are all locked(says I need the dlc). I have all the other Anarchy items(Crimson Elite Armour, Rat Rod, Fists of Rage and the Double Barrel Shotgun). But when I try and enter a sewer it says that I need the dlc. When I go to buy the dlc, it says "if you purchased rage brand new at retail you already have the dlc. WTF!?!?

Not sure I get what your saying. If you bought a new copy of Rage then you should be able to enter a code and then access the sewers.

I did enter my code and got all my bonus stuff but not able to enter sewer unless I have the DLC it says

There is a separate code you have to enter for the sewers. The Anarchy edition code doesn't include the sewers. The code may be on the back of the paper that had the Anarchy Code, or on a separate piece of paper. I can't remember at the moment and am at work so I can't check.

I am playing it on PS3, so cannot say where to check if you downloaded it through Steam.

Ok I just checked my box and you are right on the backside there is a sewer access code and I will try it out.

I had a separate piece of paper in the PS3 case with a code for the Sewers. I didn't order a special edition, just a plain old standard one!

everyone gets access if you bought it first hand! If you got it second hand like from gamestop then you do not get it. You have to be the original buyer

Or you can buy it as DLC at least from Psn
