60 bucks put into perspective.

With all the whining about how expensive games are I don't think a lot of people realize how they have actually come down in price if you figure in inflation on other common goods. Here are some examples

Gas is 60+ bucks a tank, back in the 90s AAA titles were about 40-50 bucks he'll back in late 80s I bought the bards tale for almost 50 bucks on the c-65, hell atari 2600 catridges were 30-4 bucks. A tank of gas back then was $10-15 bucks. Gas has gone up 500% where games about 20%.

There tons more examples...a median house back in so ca was about 150k the same house now would be in the 450k range that's a 300% uptick

Donuts! Were about 3-4 bucks a dozen now they are 8-9 and that's not even counting fancies :) another 200% difference. I can go on an on

Movie tickets were 3.50 now they are 15 bucks! Another 400+%.

So before the next time you guys whine, put some perspective we have it pretty good. It costs a lot of money to make games and this is in no way to apologize about bad products even though I believe RAGE Is more than worth it for

But I kinda chuckle when people won't pay x amount of money for a game out of some entitled warped outdated principle...get with the times people everything costs more and video games are still the best bargain around not only in stocker price relative to other things but also cost per HR of entertainment.
