Dude, where's my Anarchy Edition?

Preordered RAGE from amazon.co.uk. There was an Anarchy Edition and a regular edition up for sale. I checked over at the official game site and it said "pre order RAGE and get upgrade to anarchy edition for free!". So I figured I'd order the regular edition and I'll get the free upgrade. The ETA on the Anarchy Edition was also "unknown", while the normal edition had a clear release date. After all, I've been promised a free upgrade to the Anarchy Edition if I preorder...

Now, I got the game a few days ago. There's a paper with the Wasteland Sewer mission code inside, but on the other side its blank. Other than that there's only the normal game registry code (for STEAM) in it. A console player has had the same problem, so it's not gaming system specific and that's why I'm posting it here, btw.

I've been trying to find out how to get my upgrade for preordering, and as far as I found out, its supposed to be a paper inside the gaming box, which simply isn't there.

What I'd like to know now is HOW TO get the promised Anarchy Upgrade. Double shotty, fists of rage, etc. Do I have to restart the game if I get the code, and again, where, who do I talk to so that I can get the promised upgrade?

Or is this going to be a "well, there was an error somewhere and you're basically screwed"? I don't even know if its legal, because the Anarchy Edition upgrade was the reason I preordered. Isn't that false advertisemant? Preorder and get that, and then you won't get that.

I don't plan to sue Bethesda or whoever because I don't care that much, I'm just asking. Definitely not going to preorder anything that Bethesda publishes anymore, if I end up getting the shaft for faithfully putting my money forward before the product is even released. Matter of fact, I'm going to cancel my Skyrim preorder and buy it somewhere down the line, when its cheaper, bug-free and complete, anyways.

People who preorder games already get screwed over on a regular basis, having to deal with half-finished product, bugs and what not. That's something that can be expected. But if on top of that you don't get what you've been promised to be a little extra for preordering, its not acceptable.

This is no a flaming or provoking post, but just my opinion. I'm going to ignore any trolling and what not, and hope for a competent answer soon.

If I understand what you wrote. Your preordered the regular version from amazon instead of the anarchy version. Another site (the official site) said if you preordered you get the anarchy version. You should have ordered through links from the official site that would have that specific deal (Gamestop, EB games, Steam etc) If you wanted the anarchy version from amazon that is what you should have ordered. Amazon would not have been part of that 'pre order special' to the best of my knowledge unless they (amazon) said so when describing the game (which they did not). It appeares that you got what you paid for and have to live with it unless you didn't use the game and code so it could be returned.

I pre-ordered the Anarchy Edition from Amazon as well. Besides the booklet (games for windows) that explains the game; there should also be a One-page insert. Look for the codes on the bottom of the slip, not on the box cover. Hope this helps.
