I think if there is going to be another DLC it will be Gun Barrel where Dan Hagar went away to. well I hop its that. I also hope they add about 70 missions to the dlc because there wasnt much in the way of missions in Rage and the ones they had left me wanting more

Why are you looking for a game that have pet's allready in them ? If there is no games with that, then that would be unique for this game.. Don't get why your wanting a game like "all other" games ?

Idea is great and could work with a larger DLC.

but i got a theory about the DLC, that it is already planned and all that. Look around in the wasteland and you discover a unused authority building, and it should have a reason to be there.
and also at Gunbarrel you have this huge factory complex with a entrance screaming ,"enter me!".
and something else still in the eastern wastelands. (not sure wat it was)
I gues they already got DLC planned as the locations to enter DLC are there.

the primary concern relates a means to either recall your dog or the determinant as to dog deployment. The simplest setup appears to be: dog attacks once an opponent has entered a proximity to the player (or a flagged location such as a door) established by the player. Prior to the dog being triggered to attack, it attempts to hide and therefore seeks cover. The RAGE ai seems more than competent at facilitating a dog as the players combat assistant but unless the protagonist is running a kennel I can't see how the ai is predisposed to keeping a dog with the player let alone alive. Except for the animations (I've never seen animal life of any kind in RAGE related materials) the ai should already be up to the task of utilizing a puppy given the opponents that are fast and use jump attacks; however, a cut off is necessary so that the dog hides or stays just behind the player when out of combat and then only goes aggro when opposition enters the player's self defined personal space, thus releasing the hound.

The main thing we need for this game in character development not just in the ark guy you play as, but even dan hagar, sheriff even redstone what happened to him there are parts of the campaign that have to be brought back into focus think about it. also the authority and mutants are still in the wasteland there was no explosion or virus that you triggered that would wipe them out like most games do.

Pretty much every idea on here is great, I never thought about the authority cars though, we should be able to acquire one, or perhaps as an Easter egg let us cruise around in a dropship? I think it would also be cool to have a mission where we are disguised as a member of th authority, walk right into their non linear base, and choose when to strike, I know gears of war kinda did that, but then again, why not?
