According to several interviews with Tim Willits, he said that the editor would be available by opening the console, typing "id studio" and pressing enter. Having just finished the game, I thought I'd take a look but the console command is unrecognised. How do you access the editor?

*UPDATE* doing a search for id studio showed me that its still forthcoming. Damn you id!

BTW, did anyone else notice that id spilled Doom 3 in my Rage? WTF was that final level?

If they give you an editor, they can't shove DLC down your throat for $9,99 a pop, now can they?

I've seen random reports of people saying idStudio won't be released until the 64 bit version comes out, and that the 64 bit version isn't expected until next year. Whether it's true or not I couldn't say, but if idStudio didn't get released until next year it'll basically sign the death warrant for the modding community as most people will have moved on in 3 months time. A very big shame if that were the case, and very disappointing on iD's behalf. Can only hope Bethesda wouldn't do the same with Skyrim.

All "if that's the case", of course.
