Value for money

From the moment I saw the trailer to RAGE I had to have the game. I have been gaming now since the original DOOM just to show my age and am a massive fan of the Fallout games both old and new. I pre-ordered the game so I had it on the day of release, as I am a PC gamer I was dogged by the graphics issues that have been so publicly talked about. With all these faults the game was still amazing to play and had me gripped so why this thread?? according to steam I have played RAGE for 21 hours over 5 days and I have completed it!. As the game cost me £27.50 thanks to Amazons pre-order price promise this works out at £1.31 per hour. Don't get me wrong the story line was engaging the terrain was stunning and the general gameplay was fantastic but value for money I am affraid not.

As a fellow Fallout enthusiast: the content integrity resonated only after DLCs. No one knows where id will take this, as they appear to have several options, though I feel certain that player insight into the whole experience will remain incomplete till at least after the first DLC. As the common example: some of the best gameplay in Fallout 3 related to the DLCs rather than the vanilla edition and allows continued favorable reflection through the present.

The vanilla product of RAGE is probably not worth the pounds but hopefully id will make good on their reputation and give us all what we please.
