What is brink and can I play it on ps3?

Brink is a FPS and yes it is on PS3, Xbox 360, PC. It has parkour elements where you can mantle, climb, jump, and wallhop over over objects. There are 3 different body types which are Light, Medium, Heavy. Of course as a light you move faster but limited fire power where as Heavy you have more firepower but a lot less speed and you can not wallhop. As for medium is an average of both. There are also abilities you can buy in the game and as you level up the more abilites you can buy. The game also has Challenges where you can earn attachments for our guns. You have tons of custimizations for outfits to to make your character look pretty epic. The game is also objective based so if you are looking for a TDM or Search and Destroy then do not buy this game... also do not buy this game for an indepth singeplayer cause its basicly the same as multiplayer. Its also an artistic type game and not your realistic type game like Battlefield or MoH. The game takes lots of Teamwork and requires you to continuously push up with your team to win the game. Overall brink is not your average FPS but is definetly worth the money and is tons of fun (espially the parkour element). For more detail visit:

Would you recommend it for someone who likes oblivion, but never played fallout and never used guns much.

Playing an FPS doesn't technically mean that you play CoD. You might be used to it since you play games on a first person perspective. You can try out the game and see if you like it.
