I just really hope that the changes on weapon balancing are not only on PC.

Sounds very positive in any case:
...update [is] very far-reaching and introduces a host of new web-based features...

It's a really good news, but I thik it's too late... Some of competitive players stopped Brink.

I read through the topic and they are only for PC. The dev said that they were tweaks that wouldn't make a difference on consoles, I guess the weapons have different behavior and contributing factors on the two platforms.

I'm personally glad that consoles are not getting any weapon tweeks, I kinda like them as they are. Although the clan update means nothing to me, I may join one if it turns out to be good and fun thing to do.

I do also agree that another "free weekend" may be good for the PC's player base. TIme will tell what happens.

I think you are rite. It might be to late. I just tried to play a game and there was only 1 server with 3 ppl in there. The rest of the servers were totally empty. Hopefully there will be another free weekend but i doubt there will be. Looks like il be playing with bots most of the time. Which svcks because i still enjoy the game. Well if anybody wants to get a game going on the weekend message me and il play.

If they finally put in the clan support we should have gotten at launch, at least my clan will return. We played brink regularly until Battlefield 3 came out. It has Clan support. Brink does not.

For the PC crowd, it's far to late for the clan update to even be a factor anymore. For the console users on the other hand...this will be a damn good thing. Especially since even after BF3's release, there's still full pub games going with randoms. Hell, I still play Brink MORE then I do BF3, and I love BF3. It's an awesome game, but Brink has my heart.

Not sure at this point anyone around here realizes the patch was released yesterday. Hold your applause now.

I did notice, I also noticed that they added advice on the Challenge section if you play it multiplayer which I'm confused by but whatever.

Does anyone know how to create/join a clan as I can't find anything?

The update did not add clans, it was just the normal update....The clan update should be up around this week, well at least that's what the release prediction says...
