I know its kind of off-topic in general but i am a bit curious how the world of fallout was as a whole before the nuclear war. Because, from the little pieces of information the player gets in all fallout games (both from the gamesas games and the other two) only gives kind of a puzzle about the past world before the war. I think it really would be fun to explore that world a bit in the game as it was intact.

How big is that intresst to you?

It would be neat if there was some intact pictures/movie-materials in the game that you can watch to get a perspective on how it looked, don't really know how they would be able to show it otherwise.

If there is something showing the pre-war state I just hope it isn't all extreme 50.s, I like the 50 style but I want it to be 50 futuristic instead of all out 50 style everywhere >_<

Indeed and i think that is it, a mixture of 50′s and future. Nuclear powered cars and the like. To make in exploreable there could be some kind of holo simulation like in the anchorage dlc.

there are some hints;
it wqas a 50's montage world wwith nuclear power in every home and robots (in other words, if the futurists in the 50;s had gotten it right). Learn a habit, it’s not wise to upset a mutie.
But sir, nobody worries about upsetting a Human.
That’s ‘cause Humans don’t eat people when they get irritable. Mutie’s are known to do that.

I wrote up my own version of a timeline of events, but never submitted it to gamesas due to the legal issues with that other company.

I added some history divergence that would have aided the Fallout backstory (at least in my mind.)

A good point..who has the rights to a possible pre-fallout-world. Did gamesas clearly gave away any rights about the story before the great war? I mean all what the new puplisher got was the rights to continue the story of fallout into the future, or not? Did they also bought the rights to create a possible game of the past, before fallout 1?

Pre-War World= Cod and Fifa
Post-War World=Fallout World

So in Cod are nuclear powered cars, robots and energy weapons? 50′ years music and lifestyle? Intressting^^

It would be sweet to see something of the world before the bombsl and i hope gamesas could throw in this fluff in some way.
