Can you be more specific as to when exactly it crashes?

I'm not sure if Brink is available without Steam, but if you have it on Steam have you tried verifying the integrity of game crashes? That often fixes crash and other Steam game problems.

Right Click on Brink -> Properties -> Local File tab -> Verify Integrity of Game Cache

It might take a few minutes. Otherwise, I would uninstall and then reinstall the game if reinstalling video and sound drivers didn't help.

Reinstalled tried - not work

And the verify Integrity of Game Cache - all Files are checked and no broken Files are found.

Exception c0000005 has to do with an application improperly accessing the memory. I read in another forum that you should try to manually deinstall everything that is related to .NET frameworks via your control panel and reinstall it afterwards from the windows website.

If that doesn't help, I'd ask you to try new RAM but since you have a notebook that could be a bit... hard...

Why hard? Its a Gamer Series Notebook. Destkop Replacement. Can play Games like Crysis 2 without lags. :)

But this .NET can be because every Game want install his own .NET Framework Stuff. I will try this.

The funny thing is that I never had any crashes or stuff except for the memory leak related things, which were very annoying, but are fixed now, whereas others can't even launch the game at all.

Seems like you should try some new RAM modules. If it still doesn't work afterwards I dunno. Probably reinstall Windows :P

I will not reinstall Windows for only ONE Game. Many has this Problems so its luck when Game work perfect. So i will not reinstall Windows or buy other RAM for ONE Game. The Game must change for System, not System for Game.

Hi DerJochen,
I have the same Notebook too - Asus G73 JH / 5870mobility

I think it was only a driverproblem at your notebook.

My G73 runs with medium textures at 1920x1200 between 29 - 130 FPS

Now my questions to you:

1. Do you have fixed the G73 grafix-bios problems?
2. Which ATI/AMD Catalyst do you try?

PS. greetings from germany ;-)
