Windows DVD Maker

So for Father's Day I'm attempting to burn one of my dad's favorite movies (Sahara - old WWII movie) onto a disk. All goes well, the movie plays fine, except for the fact that ALL of the dialogue magically became (badly) dubbed over in French. This was maddening because when I play the movie file from my hard drive, it's all in English audio.

Is anyone here familiar enough with the program to tell me what went wrong in the burning process? Or if there's some option that I skipped over?

maybe try ripping the dvd with http://www.magicdvdripper.com/ and only select the english track or something :P

and then burn that to the disc

edit: Wait you had it on your harddrive? not sure what's wrong then.. maybe try putting it into windows movie maker and see if it's english and save from there and then burn it
