Some guy just randomly yelled "HEY WHITE BOY". As soon as I get out of the car. I'm pretty sure he meant me, I'm not sure if he was being loud for the hell of it or whether he wants to start something. I hate when people yell randomly. I'm trying to enjoy my day off and [censored]s are outside. I just hate when someone call me out for their own fun or some other reason.

This. We fought two wars to end Britain's want to rule us and yet our own government treats its people similar to the one that was replaced.

This day has less to do with winning our independence and has morphed into a day where jerks get to be even more obnoxious than they normally are. Fireworks are cool. But after the first 24 hours it becomes noise pollution.

This super-cliche Canadian broadcasting channel whos community attractions include beer and rib festivals and folk music concerts showed the sci-fi film, Independence Day tonight.

I sat through the the last half of it. Theres quite a few underlying patriotic elements to it. Its still a great movie though I wish the aliens had a bit more depth.
