Well no matter what I do to this picture, when I put it as my avatar on the forums it looks stretched, distorted and yuck. Went to paint and resized it, etc. etc. It only seems to be on this forum that it becomes distorted. What's happening here?

(It's my avatar I have right now, hideous, I know)

Edit: If I go back to my page and I look at my avatar there, it looks fine. They are actually different pictures than the one displayed here. Slightly different. It's actually on I tried before but took off because it was stretched. So now it's using the wrong picture?

Now lock it and erase the evidence.

Link to the original file just in case, but try just uploading the original without resizing, then resize to the exact number the forum accepts. I think it's 120x85 or something, not entirely sure. Sometimes it just takes a few refreshes.

And with a refresh it looks fine. So uhh... this is embarrassing. Problem solved folks, the world isn't ending after all!
