if you buy a Chromebook don't plan to use any other OS on it in the future if you decided you don't like always havign to be connected to some network. I was reading earlier how they sign the BIOS (I think, might have been the bootloader) to not accept booting from any other device or to any other OS. Though some people were able to get Linux on it there was a large delay in booting and hoops to jump through. The article could possibly be wrong I am just stating what I had read.
