The game arrived just now for me (got it cheap via retailers) ... and installed , one update.

Now just moment ago i exit the game to restart but in the moment a 300 MB update appeared


I havent used steam at all - first steamworks game for me - this supposably the second patch or you guys got it already ?

as of now there's no news or anything else to indicate ; i couldn't have a chance to test anything yet ... i just played a bit on other / friends PCs days ago ... the first level only - that was 1.0 - no patches at all.

Steam tends to update random games that you may already have all the time. ~ part of which probably has to do with steam cloud or possibly integrity check.
But if there's a 2nd patch out? I haven't heard yet, I hope so though!

'The Anarchy Edition DLC Stuff is around 320MB. Could it be? Check your install dir for a "dlc"-folder.

The sewers DLC is exactly 326 MB

We're still at patch #1, and the game is apperantly dead already

so it downloaded Sewers DLC after i launched the game 3 times ... this autoupdater meh, never liked steam stuff but im forced to.

No, no update at all in Rage DLC i got RAGE SEWERS & RAGE AUTHORITY PACK SINCE THE 6ths i guess

Yeah, but stewox did just install RAGE. He couldn't have the DLC before install...

hey. yeah i got the game the other day. i patched in the Catalyst RAGE driver and have the texture cashe at Large*. but it still has the world looking totally textureless and all flat and bland within seconds, and only bits tend to show texture. waiting on the suposed fix is annoying...

also, im having an issue i dunno if you guys ever had the problem of gaames dissapearing from your list when you go offline mode? most of mine do this... and only come back into the list when i go back online! steam support said something about firewall issues.. but going into windows firewall and allowing everything still doesnt fix this... damn, i just want this fixed before skyrim is released!!!

yes, ive verified the various games "cashe files" but no fix still. i got games like sniper: ghost warrior, aliens vs predator and mafia 2 working.. but offline mode games like modern warfare 2, duke nukem forever & RAGE dissapear!! plz help.

other game use completely different technology, there is nothing nearly similar to what Rage is running on.

To add, i've also read to delete the file "clientregistry.blob" in the steam folder.. but its not even there.....
this is almost too much to bother with to be honest. if it wasnt for the mods id just buy all my games on ps3/xbox 360.. save the steam crap*.
