Basically, you log your exercises, pretty much any exercise you can think of is in the Fitocracy database and is given ranks. After you say what you've done and how many reps/miles/minutes/etc. , you get points. After awhile, Fitocracy sees what you do and gives you challenges and quests that give you large amounts of points for pushing yourself to the next level.
What I'm mot impressed about it how welcoming the community is, it's not a bunch of meatheads who brag about their latest 500lb benchpress, the people are genuinely caring and nice. Plus, with the set-up of the website, cooperation is really key to having a fun time.
