If it's not bleeding badly and you can move your arm fine, then I'd say hold off. Put ice on it today and tomorrow apply heat to it.

I'm not a doctor but I think an amputation is in order.

If it were me I'd have a doctor look at it - if nothing else but to put my mind at ease.

The medical professionals in all of us would prescribe an actual doctor.

Urgent care. Doctor. NOW. The people on the forums are not equipped to diagnose your injury.

A good rule of thumb:

If something is preventing you from doing stuff that you can usually do, go see your doctor.

Unless of course you're stumbling to the fridge for another beer and don't quite make it.

I think it's too late for that. We'll have to do a brain transplant.

If you can do it, BUT it hurts I would apply ice. If it's not ANY better tomorrow or the day after you should see a doctor.

Why do people with crippling injuries always ask if they should see a doctor?

Well if you want to be sure, you should see a doctor.

I see you're in the UK, so it's not like it will cost you anything.

Taking the new symptoms into consideration, it might be Ghoulification. Go see a medical professional, if you can.

Then don't worry about it. The sooner you apply ice the better. Tomorrow when you wake up it'll probably hurt and be stiff, just get a heating pad or take a hot shower for a while. It'll probably feel better in a few days.

It's possible that you tore a tendon or received a hairline fracture, and these are both pretty bad things that require medical attention.
I'm not a doctor, so go see one.

You need to go to a medical professional. Advice from anyone else will be uninformed at the best, dangerous at the worst.
