Ok, I just want to voice a couple things that annoy me on here.

Topics Being Deleted: I seriously just got done posting a long ass description of something only for a mod to delete the thread I was posting in without any warning. After a look at the board, I can see there were many topics on the same subject so it makes sense but why would you not just lock it? And why on God's green Earth would you take the post out of My Recent Posts from my profile? It still deserves to be there. Don't destroy records of my contributions please. Thanks to you, no one saw it and I can't go back to use it again.
Automatic Scroll Up On Messenger: So I'm trying to PM another forumer and every time I highlight something or click on a line, the page scrolls up on me. Why? It's beyond frustrating. Especially when I'm trying to write out a long message.

I would tell a moderator but I don't think they're the ones that program the site. If they are, this is for all of them to see. Not just one. And I read the rules beforehand:

Restricted Topics

Religion and Politics
Petitions
Rating Threads
Multiplayer/Official Threads
Rating Threads/What are you listening to/Who Would Beat Who threads/Forum games
Threads regarding another user's account
Hello/Goodbye/How Old are you/What forum skin do you use threads
I got a star/I'm now a [insert rank here] Threads

What do you mean? If you highlight something on any website and your arrow is near the top, it will scroll up.

This has been discussed in another thread. I will find it soon

But basically the old forum software couldn't handle super large topics, and the new software can, but the old rule stuck, and it also helps with moderation and keeping things on topic because a 10,000 post topic gets off topic/hard to follow for new comers/gets repetitive. Also, topics are purged periodically because server space isn't free, and neither are servers.

Generally I'm pretty satisfied with how these forums are run, but if I had one complaint, it would be this. I've never been a fan of auto-censor systems. Too many false positives.

I have a problem with that last sentence though the first one rings true. They are not my masters and anyone can choose to not abide. I choose to abide but it makes being here a more undesirable place to be. Feedback helps whoever's in charge change what people dislike about their system.

My complaints had nothing to do with the rules, however. One's an example of poor organizing and the other is a glitch.

Well you're going to have to be more specific then.

Copy and paste something long and put it in a PM. Long enough so that you have to scroll down with the text bar in order to read it all. Then try adding a few of your own sentences on to it. I'm not exactly sure when it auto scrolls up and I'm not going to find out through trial and error but maybe you should if you don't believe me.

I think censoring the word for an an especially-enthusiastic-young-man (really devoted fan) is a bit far. But... :shrug:

DUDE dont complain, this is BETHESDA forums not HIGHLY DELICIOUS forum, when you make your own massive amazing forum with your own cuddly bear then you can make rules
if you dont like it no one is stopping you from leaving, complaining in public doesnt solve crap, if you dont like something petition via PM.
an example would you enjoy hearing some strange cat man screaming out in public THIS GOVERNMENT HAS TO MANY RULES TO KEEP TROLLS FROM BOTHERING GOOD PEOPLE
or him with a clipboard asking you to sign to loosen the rules
also! Thread making is in the rules, there are rules and regulations, i read them every time i make a thread sometimes im wrong

I get the impression that lead to a few flame wars....

The Censorship that I find the most amusing is the "Soviet Russia" block (occurs if you try to paraphrase Yakkov Smirnoff...)

At least Bethesda got some balls. BioWare Social Network forums censor both nazi and gay I think.

Firstly, if you have a forum software problem there is already a http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1147166-forum-update-feedback-discussion/ in this forum.

Secondly, if your problem is with the moderation or moderators you need to discuss it with them via PM, not on the open forums.
