you'd think this would the be the end of the story but no i was 18 and now where in our 20's and she wont stop stalking me
how do i get a restraining order?

Um, I'd just call your local authorites and see where they point you. They're the experts :shrug:

But, my understanding is that restraining orders don't really restrain :shrug:

And I'd suggest watching Something About Mary or Wayne's World for some stalking levity if it's needed :nod:

Well the only thing you can do is get a restaining order,Keep far away from her,and change your phone number if you can. Or block her number.

Fake your death. Or tell her she turned you gay, assuming its the creepy relationship stalker. Not the "I need someone to hang around" kind. If thats the case go back to the faking death.

Just go to the police, I assume they will tell you how to get one. Also I hope you did a dance when you got the results.

Contact the police. Then if you go missing they'll know who to go after.

If she was stalking me I'd tell her to piss off and not give her any attention that could lead to her coming back for more. Maybe stay indoors for a while, she can't stay on your lawn allday.
I don't think a restraining order would do much but maybe its different where you are. You could try one, get near her (so shes breakin the order by staying there) and just go to place places she normally goes, effectively beating her at her own game. If she doesn't comply with the order she will get the jail, correct?

You could go on the American version of Jeremy Kyle and make money from the ordeal.

I would just tell her in a matter of fact way that if she doesn't leave you alone you will have to get the police involved. Of course this may result in you coming home one day to find your dearly beloved household pet of choice simmering in a pot, but you have to try.
