Red Dead GOTY

Red Dead is getting the ultimate GOTY treatment soon. I'm very pleased with this news, now I can finally buy the game I've been putting off getting for ages (I had to admit, I was unsure about it at first) without having to buy all the extra stuff seperately. The GOTY version gets everything, from the little pre-order bonuses to Undead Nightmare and a new 'hardcoe' single player mode (I don't know what this means?)

Just wish there weren't other great games coming out in the near future <_<

Im buying that dlc the moment its on the market place. Assuming it works like NV with eating, drinking, sleeping and maybe no dead eye regeneration.

It has been added to my increasingly long (currently around 40 miles) backlog list of games I wish to play :P

I agree, it was a brilliant in pretty much every respect.

I just hope they make a Red Dead 2

I sold RDR a few weeks after it released and I've been regretting it ever since when I saw how much DLC there has been. Bad decision on my part :(

Yep, let's bring a flame war in here. Sounds like a good idea.
On topic, I got it at midnight release at launch and haven't gotten any of the DLCs (except the first free one) and I don't plan on getting Undead Nightmare. Kind of ruins the whole serious attitude the game has. (But that doesn't mean it doesn't have silly parts.)

This is proof that Rockstar is lazy.

It's certainly not budget issues holding them back from releasing on the PC, just laziness. Maybe lack of talent, seeing as how bad GTA IV was on the PC.

I honestly didn't like it that much. The VO was amazing, the physics when you shot someone were fantastic, but it was just something about the game that didn't really "click" with me.

No idea why or what, I really wanted to like it.

I dont see how the controls, one of the best parts of the game, could be transmitted to pc.

GTAIV had KB&M controls as well as native 360 controller support (I use the controller for that game). What's so complex about RDR's controls anyways?

I got the game for free because of a Best Buy error. I don't know if I'll ever play all the expansions though.

Awesome

I wonder if a non GOTY save will be compatible so all i'll have to do is install the DLC and not make a new game as well ...

also we already have this thread somewhere

The link doesn't specify if it's on disc or just a code to download it all in a pack...

Hope it's on disc.

Yeah, but you never know... I really hope they go with disc. Would be a great convenience, due to not being able to have a connection with the internet from my 360.
