how do I put a bookmarks side bar in google chrome? I have bookmarks but theyre all across the top of the screen and thats just silly.

and how do I turn off the constant spell checker?

1) There's currently no bookmarks sidebar in Chrome.
2) Start spelling things correctly :spotted owl: (or go to wrench> options> under the hood> languages and spell-checker settings > uncheck "enable spellchecking")

my spelling is fine, but even the word google comes up wrong thanks for the info.

You should be able to right-click and add it to your dictionary

But the reason it's coming up wrong is because Google is a proper noun and needs to be capitalized

Actually all of my bookmarks are at the top, and that's where I prefer them - to each their own. I just wanted to make a stupid joke.

Right now Do'tirath is showing up as wrongly spelled, so yeah that spell checker is kind of annoying.

I'm not sure about the spellchecker, but you can create a folder in the top bar. Just right click on it and click New Folder. I've put dozens of bookmarked pages in there, but I keep the most important ones on my bookmarks bar.
