At the time when iD was iD, they spent their time working on that crap RAGE iOS game that no-body but lapdog review sites and non-gaming hipsters praised, when they could have been spending that time actually working on the real deal.
If iD stuck to their roots then this wholesale disaster would have been prevented. Next will be a game using a Direct3D engine and will require a persistent connection. Bethesda is out of touch.
Maybe someone can fill me in, because I don't understand where this "iD" thing came from. On every box of every one of their game I own, they're clearly listed as "id." Not "iD."
Also, Bethesda had almost nothing to do with Rage. By the time they bought id, it had already been in development for almost 4-5 years.
