I'm still reading posts from people saying that they will play the game through first on single player campaign before going onto multiplayer. and other people saying they will just skip the campaign and just go straight online and play multi-player. they are both the same thing and here is a youtube vid from the chief himself to explain to you how brink works. the info you want to hear is from 3mins until 5mins in the vid.

Don't get tripped up when he says it's the "same game". That just means you don't have to back out and quit your current session to play with humans. What I'm going to do day one is play challenges and story mode against bots ONLY. That is brinks version of single player. Once I hit the switch to let bots get replaced with human players, then it will be co-op/multiplayer.
