So I recently bought RDR, it's an amazing game, I spent over 30 hours so far playing it only 60% done. Well I beat the MQ, and ***spoiler***




Also, I downloaded the hunter free DLC with the merchants outfit and hunter outfit. Well I DL'd it and everything, and that's all fine, it was free..
But now I load my saved game and it stays on the loading screen forever..nothing happens..it just loads..for ever..and it never stops. The little gun wheel on the bottom just keeps going and going and going..

Before I DL'd and installed this free DLC, that never happened once. Did I do something wrong?

That's part of the plot. There are still some missions to do.

What about the issue with the loading? I've tried multiple times and I just can't load this saved game..the load screen just stays forever..it happened after I DL'd the free hunter/merchant outfit DLC..

Also one more thing..

Is it not possible to start over on the same gamer profile? Like..I want ot keep that saved game..it's a fully "hero" character..I'm a good deed doer etc..

But I want to start over and be a bad guy now..but I see no "new character" option etc?

I am assuming people who don't want spoilers for RDR quit this thread by now.

There is one (1) quest for the son. However, you can finish off the game to 100% using him, if there are any stranger quests or whatever that you haven't done yet.

As for a new game, I think it is off the menu under "game".

Even though it is a part of the plot, its more of a means to justify a free roam mode at the end of the game.

No one seems to be answering this guys actual question though, he can't get his game to load. I personally don't know the answer.
