No wonder why pc gaming is being phased out

I'm sure developers are getting pretty sick of you idiots who run out and rate a game a zero if it doesn't work 100% on day one, minute one. How does a driver issue warrant the game deserving a zero? You think that a company that has spent 5+ years and millions and millions of dollars deserves a zero because of a driver issue? You know how many times back in the day that I had to mess around with drivers and configs to just get the game to run?? Did I cry all day on the internet? No. And I'm not some console fanb0y either...I'm 27 and have been a PC gamer since I can remember... playing Commander Keen and Wolf 3d when I was in elementary school. Then coming home one day and having my dad meet me at the door and saying "You have to see this new game... it's called Doom... it's amazing, and you can even run up stairs!" I was one of the first to have a DWANGO account in NY and when I was 9 or 10 remember beating the crap out of 30 - 40 year olds in DM matches. It's memories like this that remind me how instrumental id software has been in my life and the gaming industry a whole. So do you really think your behavior of running out within 10 minutes of a games release and rating it a zero is going to encourage game developers to start favoring PC gaming again? Ha. That ship has sailed... your sense of entitlement, mixed with PC piracy and a dwindling PC gamer base, is the reason PC gaming is dead. You have no one to blame but yourselves. Carmack and the rest are right... console gaming is the future. Sorry ;(
