RIP Heavy D. I'm not a huge fan of his, but he definitely had a large influence on hip hop.

I'd just like to say, among all the hip hop and rap artists from the 80s, he was one of the few that stayed out of trouble. Short life though, but he lived a good one.

Just read it may have been related to the pneumonia he was suffering from. Pretty sobering how quickly a person (young or old) can succumb to that.

I had no idea who that was until I heard the song which brought back some memories. RIP.
