Safe? Like, safe from spyware? Sure.

I doubt it affects your PC performance.

If I were you I'd ask my mother or father to explain to me "forums" and just general use of computers.

Just steer clear of the Borg and you're good. Resistance is futile.

Hmm lets see here accessing his files....pictures....OS setup....hmm should we reprogram his wallpaper with the Bethesda logo or turn him into a Brony? :chaos:

Speaking seriously OP you're fine most forums disallow the showing of images files which can be laced with malware/viruses. These forums are safe and i've been going to them for over 2 years now haven't had any problems. Only thing you should be careful of is clicking on links making sure they go to places you feel are acceptable.

These forums are as safe as Henning and your broser settings make it.

Really though, using USB sticks and your computer being on the Internet in general are more dangerous than these particular forums.

No, we will hack your computer and steal all your money. We will then use your computer for a large botnet that rivals the power of governments. Don't try to leave, because it's already too late.

I've already got control of your laptop, I reccomend turning it off tonight instead of letting it idle, since I'll probably use it to torrent some stuff.

The OP is asking if these forums will give him viruses which is obvious they won't. The hack attempts did not effect anything besides some members not being able to reactivate their accounts. But that was mainly because they couldn't access the original email they used to create their account.

nothing on the Internet is safe except relative to something else on the Internet. These forums are relatively safe.
