So lately everything I've tried to download on iTunes has been horribly slow. It started with the ios 5.0.1 update which I at first tried downloading on my laptop but it was taking forever so I tried downloading it on WiFi on my phone and again it took like 15 minutes to get 40mb (I even did this on a different WiFi network). The internet I'm using is pretty fast and usually I could download a 1gb file in a short amount of time.

However right now I'm trying to download Sunday's episode of The Walking Dead and a few movies in iTunes for a total of like 30gb and it's going to take days to download at this rate.

I even downloaded a 10mb app earlier and it took several minutes to download.

Is anyone else experiencing this? I updated iTunes to the latest version, still no help. Files I download elsewhere are downloading much faster.

It should be patched pretty quickly, Apple wouldn't want one of it's biggest sources of income to be crippled like this.
