You can still join although its nearly day 15, you just need to write 25,000 words if you want to reach 50,000 according to the 1,667 words a day plan.

Yeah I'm giving it a go... I'm "Dark Helmet" on there. I'm closing in on 3,000... think I overestimated both my free time and ability to be creative. :P

You can have a look at the plot doctoring forum and they can help you a lot.

Or you can adopt almost anything from the adoption society and that can get you going.

Yeah, I took a look. I have a pretty good idea of how the plot will unfold, I've just found I'm not quite as good of a writer as I thought I was. :P

Eh, I did it a couple of years ago. Managed to get 50,000 words too!

Discovered I have a talent for writing crappy novels with crappy characters and crappy plots and crappy dialogue.

Creativity was not gifted to me, so I'll just stick to reading books. :P

Writing my own book, draft two is a mere four chapters away from being done. This is very close to the finalized story I want to tell. I have in the past completed nano writing a short story taking place in the same universe as the one in my book. Alas a fool am I and that short story has been lost with time, I swear I had it on my hard drive but it vanished a long time ago.

Really now, when I first heard about this I got interested, but then I learned it was in the same month as Skyrim and all of a sudden 30 days changed into 11 days. :P Not going to participate this year but I may participate some other time. (And then of course I can participate by myself with my own goals but that's beside the point)

I've done this in the past, but uni is just far too much work at the moment, so I'm passing again this year. Good luck you guys though! :)

I did it last year, it was much fun, even if my novel was quite hackish. I have less free time this year, and Skyrim is outt to fill that.
