Back in August I pre-ordered my collector's edition of Skyrim in-store at Gamestop, they said the game would be here exactly one day after release (Saturday). Come Saturday, no game arrived so I called them and they said they had some problems, but they had it sorted out and they had shipped it out to me already and said it'd be here in the next couple days. My question is, Does Gamestop, through whatever company they use (UPS/Fedex) still uphold the next day shipping kind of thing when they ship late? Like if they sent it Saturday, obviously it wouldn't come Sunday but it'll be here Monday? (which is today) :ahhh:

That depends on what shipping service they use (i.e. UPS, FedEx, USPS) and what service level was selected (i.e. next day/overnight, 2 day/express, etc.). If they used UPS, shipped next day air and it entered the UPS system on Saturday, you should receive Skyrim by 5PM today.

Since this is Gamestop we're talking about, I wouldn't hold my breath. I've never been impressed with their "customer service".

Yeah they were painful with my NV preorder too. I'm pretty sure its next day, not sure about the service but I'm guessing UPS or Fedex because its a much farther distance (minnesota where I ordered it in store to new york state where I live). Thanks though, your answer was much more comforting than the bunt "it will come Wednesday" I got this morning.. :vaultboy:
